Is Genius Cloud included in Genius Scan+?
Genius Scan+ is a one-time purchase to extend the capabilities of the Genius Scan app, while Genius Cloud is a subscription for a document storage and synchronization service.
All the premium features are provided with a Genius Cloud subscription, and enabled on all your Android and iOS devices connected to your account.
Are all edits and tags synced?
Yes. All the changes made to your documents are automatically synced with your Genius Cloud account, and as a consequence, with all your logged in devices.

If, for some reason, your documents don't appear up-to-date on a device, check your Internet connection and press the sync status in the top bar of the Documents screen to get them synchronized instantly.
How much storage space do I have?
There is no storage limit in place at this time, and we don't intend to put hard limit. You can use the service reasonably without worry.
How much does Genius Cloud cost?
Genius Cloud is available as a subscription for $2.99 per month, or $29.99 per year. The subscription includes both the synchronization of your scans and all Genius Scan+ features on your connected devices.
Why do you charge for that?
We haven't raised money and we don't plan to sell our company to Facebook, but we plan to be here for the years to come. And let's be honest, there is no free lunch.
Your subscription pays for the costs of developing, maintaining and supporting this service. It also covers the costs of the servers used to transfer and store your documents. Besides, it allows us to work on future products and services that we make at The Grizzly Labs, such as PYFL, Genius Sign and Genius Fax.
Is this compatible with other storage services?
Yes. With Genius Cloud, you can still export your documents to other apps such as Dropbox and Google Drive. On iOS, you can also enable Auto-Upload to automatically send your documents and edits in real-time to your desired cloud storage.
Is Genius Cloud required to have my documents backed up?
No. You can back up your documents with or without a Genius Cloud subscription.
Genius Cloud is a synchronization service that runs in the background to save your documents automatically. It makes your documents safer and more accessible, but it doesn't create periodic backups (yet). This means that deleting a file from a logged-in device will be replicated to other connected devices.
Can you see my documents?
Documents are transmitted securely between your devices (HTTPS) and our cloud storage where they are stored securely. In order to troubleshoot issues with your scans or the synchronization service, we may have to access your documents. We have put a strong policy in place to respect your privacy. How do I change my password?
This isn't possible during the beta of Genius Cloud. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any question regarding your account.
